We will focus on Jesus’ last words on the cross, woven together with encounters Jesus had with others in His ministry.

YOUTH PALM/PASSION SUNDAY BREAKFAST April 2nd – from 8:00 – 11:30 a.m. Menu: eggs, ham, hash browns, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, juice, milk, and coffee (Free will donation goes to youth serving the meal!)

Installation of Council & Board Members
On Sunday, February 12th at the 9:00 a.m. worship service ALL Council & Board members will be installed for 2023! Please plan to attend.
Annual Meeting of the Congregation
Annual meeting of the Congregation will be January 29, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. in the Parish Hall. A brunch by the youth of St. John will be served during the meeting.

Family Board Lent Event
Our 2023 Family Board Lent Event will be held in the St. John Parish Hall on Sunday, February 26th at 10:00 a.m. We invite ALL to participate in this fun event where we will learn about Lent and its importance AND make a clay Prayer Pot!
Sunday School Christmas Program
On December 11th at the 9:00 a.m. worship service the St. John Sunday School will present their Christmas program! There will be a “Cookie Reception” in the Parish Hall following the service.
Music Sunday December 18th
Join St. John in celebrating the music of the season on Sunday, December 18, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. “Waiting for Bethlehem’s Light” features: choir, instrumentalists, piano/organ duet, scripture readings Join us in the Parish Hall after the service for coffee & a treat!
Christmas Eve Worship
Saturday, December 24, 2022, St. John will be celebrating Christmas Eve Candlelight Worship with communion at 4:00 p.m. & 6:30 p.m. The 4:00 p.m. worship service will be live streamed! All are welcome!
Office Hours
Sunday, December 25th, Christmas Day there will not be a worship service. The office will be closed on December 26th. Tuesday through Friday, the 27th – 30th, Kathy’s office will be open from 8:00 a.m. – noon.

November is Food Month! Each Sunday youth can bring non-perishable food items to class to be collected for the Blessing Box or the Food Pantry!

Crafters and Gardeners! Part of our 150th celebration on October 30th will be a craft show with donated items to sell. Adult Bible study
Adult Bible study will be at 10:15 in the Chapel. Bible study will begin again in January 2023. Each week we will be taking a closer look at the Bible readings for that Sunday. It’s a chance to go deeper in the scriptures for that week and have conversation about them.
Rally Day & Backpack Blessing!
On September 18th during the worship service any student (or Educator) can have their backpacks blessed! Then, join the Family Board in the Narthex to sign up your students for Sunday School & After School!
Confirmation Fair
Our CONFIRMATION FAIR will be October 5, 2022 We are inviting the congregation to come and visit with our 10th grade confirmands about their Faith Boards in the Parish Hall at 6pm. Our confirmands will highlight their faith journey. Snacks provided!
