Blessing box

 
Members of the church donate non-perishable food items that are placed in a storage cabinet on the east side of the building. This is available 24 hours a day.

After School Program (ASP)

Kindergarten through 5th Grade
Snacks, crafts, music and playing are all a part of the afternoon activities.
The program meets from Oct - May.
Transportation from the elementary schools and middle school is provided on the church bus for those wishing to ride.


Music

Kids' Choir (K-5th Grade) 4:30 pm
Trinity Choir (6th Grade to adults) 7:00 pm
Tone Chime Choir (for anyone who can count rhythms) 6:00 pm
        Tone Chimes are played similarly to handbells. The music is the same.

All groups rehearse on Wednesdays


Coats for kids

 
Coats for Kids is a collection of new or gently used winter coats, snow pants, gloves, mittens, hats, and boots. This is available at no cost. The Coats for Kids event will take place Saturday, October 11, 2025. Items will also be available throughout the school year.


GriefShare

 
GriefShare is a 13-week support group for those experiencing the loss of a close relative or loved one. It's offered each year from January thru April.

In 2026, this group is being held on Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30 p.m. from January 20th-April 14th. This is for any adult in the community who has lost a loved one.

Stephen ministry

 
Stephen Ministry is a confidential, caring ministry for those going through difficult circumstances in life.


Wednesday night suppers


We serve a full meal from 5pm – 6pm and runs September – May. Fee is $5 for adults and kids through 12th grade eat free. 


Compassion fund

 
Compassion Fund is a ministry of St. John to help people in need in the community. St. John is a distribution point for people who need extra financial assistance for food or gas during difficult financial times. People will meet with a layperson, and if they meet the qualifications of the program, a voucher for the unmet need is available. Those in need can come to the church Tuesday mornings from 10am-11am.
